I don't think this article has been given serious wiki review, as it has a section that says "including the Ohio Watercolor Society, xxx, and yyy." So I looked closer and realized that there wasn't much there in the way of WP:RS to establish WP:Artist. There are a number of watercolor competitions, which I don't think cut it. And some regional shows. I note that the McDonough Museum of Art ref that is used throughout, is from the school where he teaches/taught. He had a *faculty* show there. • Delete Xxx and yyy are important awards! Voting delete since he doesn't pass any of the four prongs of WP:ARTIST. I've found a few things, but even in this article, one of the first that came up that actually mentioned him in my search, he's mentioned almost trivially: [1] SportingFlyer talk 04:33, 11 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete, obviously. Four of the provided article sources are event announcements. Search turns up nothing significant. 104.163.147.121 (talk) 05:11, 11 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete: The article describes the typical activities of an artist going about his business: occasional commissions, teaching work, inclusion in group shows, etc. The WP:NARTIST criteria are significantly higher than that and I am seeing nothing to meet them or the broader WP:BASIC criteria.
