Is Renate Blauel notable for anything beyond having once been Elton John's wife? I really can't see anything that makes her stand out on her own merits. Mabalu (talk) 15:31, 14 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Very weak keep Read about her on the front page of readit once however that doesn't override WP:GNG.--Jeffrd10 (talk) 16:05, 14 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect to Elton John. She was a non-notable sound engineer when they met, and doesn't seem to have done anything major since they split. No independent success. And appearing on the front page of reddit doesn't change that. --Colapeninsula (talk) 17:04, 14 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
This story seems to confirm her subsequent life of obscurity. --Colapeninsula (talk) 17:06, 14 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Redirect to Elton John, as suggested. She was very private, and has remained so, except for her wedding day(s). Bearian (talk) 18:48, 21 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
