Delete - Utterly fails WP:N. KaySL (talk) 17:38, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]- Query How about the airline and its mergers? I don't know American airlines. Monarch rings a bell somewhere. Peridon (talk) 17:54, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Appears to have founded Monarch Airlines (1946-1950), which later morphed into the large Frontier Airlines (1950-1986). (Another Monarch Airlines is an unrelated British company.) Unsure whether this is sufficient notability to warrant an article. the wub "?!" 18:48, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect to Frontier Airlines (1950-1986), where he is mentioned, for the moment. I cannot find sufficient sources to stand up a page that meets WP:BIO. However, he plainly did play a part in the history of US airlines. If the Monarch Airlines page is recreated in a non-copyvio form the redirect can then be retargeted there. Smile a While (talk) 19:27, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]- Merge and Redirect per emerging consensus. KaySL (talk) 19:34, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- The Monarch Airlines page wasn't actually a copyvio and I've asked that it be restored. If it is, I suggest Redirect and Merge a shortened version of the bio. twirligigLeave one! ⋄ Check me out! 19:35, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge and redirect to Monarch Airlines (1946-1950). Smile a While (talk) 22:05, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge and redirect sounds good to me. the wub "?!" 00:46, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep -- Minor notability, rather than NN. I have added links and categories. The fact that the article had a citation was not apprarent before I started. Peterkingiron (talk) 17:38, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge and redirect to Monarch Airlines (1946-1950) per previous arguments. --Triadian (talk) 21:11, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
