Appears as a name on the topographic maps with nothing there. "Rankin" is common enough in names that searching is very difficult, but I couldn't find anything that seemed to be related to this site. Found some references to a "Rankin Richard Ranch", but it was in a different part of the county, based on the sources. I can't figure out what this was, so it's safe to say if there's basically nothing sourceable we can here, then it's probably not notable. Hog Farm Talk 16:11, 21 April 2021 (UTC)

- delete It shows up on one topo, and is listed in GNIS as "historical" and as having come from some DMA map. Just not enough to verify. Mangoe (talk) 04:01, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
