Potent Pi O[edit]

Non-notable chapter (Pi Omicron Chapter) of a notable organization (Alpha Phi Alpha). Notability is not inherited, so the chapter needs to be notable on its own. Based on the information provided (without any references) and a gsearch I find nothing to indicate notability. Perhaps this chapter deserves a line or two in the main fraternity article.

As it stands now the name is incorrect because it is a nickname that is not widely used ("Potent"). If AFD is closed as keep then renaming should be considered. 7 ^{talk | Δ |} 22:56, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Delete: It's a train wreck of an article that looks suspiciously like a copyviu though I haven't been able to track down from where. Some of the text does come from other wikis but I can't find the root. All of which isn't a reason to delete, just one to be wary. As per the nom this is a fairly non-notable chapter which below all the rhetoric doesn't really make it stand out. --Web Hamster 23:27, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Keep - The Pi Omicron chapter is a notable chapter in Texas and has won Chapter of the Year and has had members become Brother of the Year on several occasions. It also known for its community and national programs and events such has Go-To-High School, Go-To-College and Alphapalooza. Delete None of the matters above are significant, as confirmed by the lack of 3rd party references. The extensive list of members that makes up 90% of the content confirms it.
