The unpopular democrats... Tiny, insignificant political party which won 1 - one - vote in one of the elections. Fails WP:GNG. Geschichte (talk) 22:58, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

- Delete "contested" should not be in the same sentence as "0.01%" Reywas92Talk 23:47, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
- let's be fair, in other elections it won as many as 32 votes. DGG ( talk ) 05:32, 21 November 2020 (UTC)

- Keep... let's not focus solely on the late phase of the party. It had a degree of notability in its earliest stage, as Arbetarlistan which played a role in regrouping left-wing forces, albeit this project lost steam before the 1991 election. At it's peak it had 1,800 members and a TEMO survey showed 26% of voters considered voting for the party ( https://www.marxists.org/svenska/tidskrifter/fi/fi90-3/arbetarlistans_framtid.html , https://www.marxists.org/svenska/tidskrifter/fi/fi91-2/arbetarlistan-tiden_rinner_ut.html ). "I allt pekade partiutvecklingen under 1990 mot att den riksdag som skulle väljas 1991 kunde få ett rekordstort antal partier , sannolikt sex eller sju och möjligen ända upp till nio , om både Arbetarlistan och Ny demokrati når upp till de fyra procenten" ([1]). The Arbetarlistan foundation and its factional conflicts dealt with in book: https://bohogrelius.wordpress.com/2012/11/19/hur-uppkom-arbetarlistan/ https://www.lindelof.nu/vad-ska-man-gora/ , note the quote: "Han tog då initiativ till något helt nytt. Ett riktigt arbetarparti där arbetare skulle dominera. Det blev först en stor succé, men slogs snart sönder av vänstersekteristers och knäppgökar." ("He then took a wholly new initiative. A real workers party which would be dominated by workers. At first it was a great success, but was soon broken into pieces by left sectarians and weirdos"). "Founded in the wake of the two ' lib - lab ' pacts - Social Democrat - Liberal legislative coalitions – on tax reform ( January 1990 ) and austerity ( April 1990 ) , the Arbetarlistan castigated the ' inverted Robin Hood politics ' of robbing the poor [...] Clearly the new party wanted above all to compete with SAP for traditional working - class votes , especially those of the low - paid trade unionists . At the same time , by opposing nuclear power and EC membership , it perhaps hoped to attract an ' eco - socialist ' element . At the polls in September 1991 , the Arbetarlistan platform was indistinguishable in its essentials from those of the Leftist Party and the Greens" (https://books.google.at/books?id=k9SHAAAAMAAJ). At least one later parliamentarian (Ulla Andersson) was a party member ( https://folkbladet.se/nyheter/soderkoping/ulla-andersson-v-motte-partikamrater-5789600.aspx ). Founded in January 1990 per [2] Parts of the party contested jointly with the Left Party in 1991, and thus doesn't appear in electoral results (. https://www.helahalsingland.se/artikel/oppositionsaren-har-varit-forskrackligt-frustrerande ) Kjell Eriksson was the party secretary (https://arbetet.se/2012/10/12/pa-rakorna-vred-sig-plotsligt-vagen/). --Soman (talk) 01:04, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
- Keep: Per Soman's comment, there appear to be suitable sources on the subject, they just happen to mostly be in Swedish. This is to be expected since the article is about Swedish politics. They could have won not a single vote in their history as a party and they would still pass WP:GNG per the above. ∴ ZX95 [discuss] 03:37, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
