- If I had a decent source to hand, this would be kerrzapped to an {{UttarPradesh-geo-stub}} so fast heads would be spinning. But I don't have sources for geographic or demographic data available, or even confirmation that this even is a village in UP.
None of this content is useful, and I am unable to create a good, verifiable, stub to replace it.Delete.Uncle G (talk) 00:57, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply] - Delete not sure which village this article is about. In the current form it is unverifiable.--Sodabottle (talk) 17:07, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment - Frequently with south Asian place names, there are multiple Latin character spellings from multiple sources. Could there be a more common spelling of this place?--Oakshade (talk) 23:22, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep and move to Farsatar as that is how it's officially translate by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. It is located in the Siar Block of Ballia district in Uttar Pradesh and is governed by a Gram Panchayat. This is a govt doc, accessed from the district administration, documenting the number of households in the village below the national poverty line. "फ" in Hindi can be rendered as "Fa", "Pha" or "Phu" in English. —SpacemanSpiff 10:39, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Well found! The alternative spellings always make for extra difficulty. I've just found Farsatar Post Office listed in the list of post offices for pincode 221715 and Farsatar itself in the DDWS list of places with iron contamination in their drinking water. That's definitely the title this should be at. Uncle G (talk) 18:32, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
