- Delete. Seems more than a little WP:TOOSOON (Subject was 18 years-old when article was created and had, what, a dozen league appearances?). WP:GNG in particular is not met. (A search in, for example, the Irish Times returns just three run-of-the-mill match report type mentions. Nothing which focuses on the subject as primary topic.) The only coverage I can find, that could possibly contribute to a notability assertion was stuff like this or this. But this is the type of ROTM "transfer news" coverage discussed in WP:ROUTINE. And is typically not considered to contribute to notability under WP:NSPORT/NFOOTY. Delete or (re)draft. Guliolopez (talk) 02:31, 26 December 2021 (UTC)
- Delete - fails GNG and NFOOTBALL. GiantSnowman 11:57, 26 December 2021 (UTC)
- Keep Derry City is at the top level in the Republic of Ireland and he has signed a professional contract with them. Added reference showing he's appeared in contests for them.Royal Autumn Crest (talk) 23:50, 26 December 2021 (UTC)
- The Republic of Ireland top level league is not fully professional.--BlameRuiner (talk) 07:30, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
- He is a professional though and it's the top tier of a sovereign nation. I think that's close enough in this case. Royal Autumn Crest (talk) 17:48, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
- The Republic of Ireland top level league is not fully professional.--BlameRuiner (talk) 07:30, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
- Delete - the coverage falls short of WP:GNG and the subject has only played at WP:NOTFPL level; the Derry Journal piece is not enough on its own. I also disagree with the assertion that anyone that has played in the top tier of any nation and got paid for doing so is notable. We have GNG and NSPORTS for a reason and shouldn't keep articles on people who don't meet either requirement. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 13:41, 28 December 2021 (UTC)
- Delete, Per above, fails WP:GNG and WP:NFOOT, Alex-h (talk) 15:38, 28 December 2021 (UTC)
- Delete fails WP:GNG and league is not fully professional either. Joseph2302 (talk) 17:28, 28 December 2021 (UTC)
- Delete as he meets neither WP:GNG or WP:NFOOTY. Onel5969 TT me 15:51, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
