Oklahoma Film Critics Circle Awards 2011[edit]

Oklahoma Film Critics Circle has been deleted as a non-notable, awards-mill organization. The awards of a non-notable organization are equally non-notable.

I am also nominating the following related pages (some of which have been tagged with notability / unreferenced tags for as long as six years) for the same reason, and as has been done previously with other awards of non-notable organizations.

Comment. Well, Variety covered their awards in 2007, 2008, and 2009. On the other hand, The Dissolve mentioned them as more-or-less insignificant if you read between the lines. There's also the expected coverage in The Oklahoman, which is easy to discount as too local in scope. I don't have a strong opinion on this, but I do think that maybe we have too many articles on insignificant film critics and their societies. Delete Agree with Lugnuts. Without entering the debate if Oklahoma Film Critics Circle is notable or not (as I haven't researched them), if it was decided they aren't notable for an article, their awards shouldn't be notable as well.--Gonnym (talk) 08:54, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
