The result was redirect to Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University. I don't think further relistings will result in any more participation here so I'm closing this discussion as a Redirect. Does not satisfy WP:PROF or WP:GNG. Being a vice chancellor of a college does not in itself confer notability. I tried searching for sources, but only discovered this very short obituary in Malayalam [1] that I added to the article.
Note: there is a Canadian microbiologist of the same name who might be notable [2], and for a while this article was a WP:FRANKENSTEIN listing the latter's papers; I reverted it to the original state. No such user (talk) 11:05, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: Vice chancellor of a college in India actually can in itself confer notability, as Indian vice chancellors are considered to be the highest post at an cfor WP:NPROF#C6. That said, I'm unsure (and skeptical) of whether or not Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University is considered a major academic institution in India. Curbon7 (talk) 12:35, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Redirect to Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University. The reason for redirect is to WP:NPROF#C6. Although Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University is a public sector university in India but I can't see any of the coverage in reliable source during his tenure.
