There was already content on this subject at Ganderbal district#Mohand Marg and so I merged the short piece of content of the new standalone article into the section in the Ganderbal district article and replaced the Mohand Marg stub with a redirect, per WP:BLANKANDREDIRECT.

The redirect has since been replaced with a copy and paste from the merged section by the new editor that created the article.

I believe the redirect should be reinstated. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 18:30, 18 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The article can be expanded and there is also a good amount of citation so I guess there is no need for deletion. Peerzada Iflaq (talk) 20:28, 19 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Peerzada Mohammad Iflaq: If you re-read the nomination, you'll see that I am not calling for the article to be deleted, but to redirect to existing, almost the same content at Ganderbal district#Mohand Marg. More people will see the content there than in this standalone article. While more references have been added here, not all of them are reliable sources. The three that promote trekking businesses should not be included given that the same basic information about the place can be verified in other, more reliable, more independent publications. At least two of the books referenced are mere mentions. Most of the in-depth coverage is not actually about the Marg but about Aurel Stein's visits so could be used to expand that article. • Redirect - I agree with the nominator; there is no justification for a stand-alone article. We lose nothing by restoring the redirect. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 19:46, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
