Keep per WP:ARTIST #4, held in permanent collections "of several notable galleries or museums": Museum of Modern Art (extensive collection),[1] Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago,[2] Berlin State Museums,[3] Brooklyn Museum,[4] Yale University special collections.[5] -- Green Cardamom (talk) 17:27, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Delete When an artist makes books it's difficult to determine whether they're in the museum library (not in itself notable) or the collection (notable). The MOMA artist book collection is listed in their library, rather than the collection proper. Some artist books make it to the collection: for example Ruscha's 26 Gas Stations is definitely in the MOMA collection. The Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, is the best ref for notability, but I don't think it's enough..Ethicoaestheticist (talk) 23:42, 23 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How to determine MOMA library and not collection? It shows multiple locations and some of them say things like "artists file". Yale says "special collection" and not for circulation. And what about Berlin. If it is hard to tell, we should err on the side of caution and not delete a notable artist. -- Green Cardamom (talk) 04:29, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Keep Meets standard requirements. If they are collected as works of aert by major museums, the artist is notable . DGG ( talk ) 18:32, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
