Thames began his acting career two years ago and does not appear to meet WP:ENTERTAINER, which says WP:GNG is passed if an actor has had significant roles or has made unique, prolific or innovative contributions to a field of entertainment. His first lead role in a feature film is in The Black Phone, which has not yet been released to mainstream audiences. His second lead is for an upcoming film that has not begun filming. Delete: at a quick glance, WP:NACTOR is not met here. Two of the article's sources only mention Thames as a passing reference with no further elaboration about him. Draftifying would likely be pointless as it is typically only done when articles may be improved in some way. Doing it here would not change the fact that he is still not notable, even if another film releases in a few months starring him. Mason Thames's new film, The Black Phone has now been released. Mason is the lead in the film opposite of Ethan Hawke. He has also had several articles in major industry publications that can be added as well.
