Contested PROD. There are no references that support the claim that this is "one of India's largest business conglomerates" ; like the editor who PROD tagged the article I have searched for sources but not found any. Page creator evidently has a COI. bonadea contributions talk 18:59, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete In fact, in my opinion, this qualifies for speedy deletion under speedy deletion criterion A7. The description of that criterion specifically says "The criterion does apply if the claim of significance or importance given is not credible", and the only claim of significance (that it is "one of India's largest business conglomerates") is not credible. If that were true, it would certainly be easy to find significant amounts of coverage, but I have searched, and found no reliable independent sources at all. I considered speedy deletion, but decided instead to use a PROD to give the article's author a chance to provide evidence. Instead of doing so, however, he/she removed the PROD with a rather misleading edit summary. This is one of a set of articles, all created by the same editor and all related to the same business. All the others have been deleted either as copyright infringements or as spam. JamesBWatson (talk) 19:16, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete—Tried targeted searches on Highbeam Research and Indian RSes, came up empty. All the links in the article are deadlinks. I can't imagine why someone would go through all this work to create a hoax article, but honestly, I can't figure out if this company actually exists. - Delete - Mars Group eventually leads to a Facebook page which then eventually leads to an article at http://www.medianewsline.com/news/122/ARTICLE/8037/2011-07-28.html . After that everything dies all ties and links from July of 2011 die in an attempt to start something that dosen't exist or trying to make exist. - Pmedema (talk) 20:30, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete - I think this is their website. I found a couple mentions in the media such as [1]. There is also a similar company [2], but I'm not sure if they are related. Regardless, I can't find significant coverage to meet WP:GNG or WP:COMPANY. P. D. Cook Talk to me! 18:27, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Their website is already listed in the subject article. Besides the one you have mentioned says Sanjay Sharma is the director, while the article in question has some 20 year old Ojha. I also searched "Mars Group" + "Dharmendra Ojha", couldn't find a single notable reference, rather the total number of searches Google returned were 5 or 6. - It is not true that "Their website is already listed in the subject article". All of the links in the article are dead links, apparently placed there to make it look as though there are relevant web pages, but there aren't. The web page that P. D. Cook links to describes its business as warehousing, packaging, and transport services. It bears no resemblance to the business described in the Wikipedia article, which has interests in fields such as Media and Entertainment, Marketing Communications, Education, etc, etc. It is clearly not the same company at all. In fact, I have come to the conclusion that the article is certainly a hoax. A business which is as large and prominent as the article claims, and active in such a large range of business areas, would certainly have extensive mentions all over the place, whereas in fact there is almost nothing about the business, and what little does exist is not in reliable sources. I am now convinced that this qualifies for speedy deletion, as I suggested above, but we are so near the end of this AfD that we may as well let it run its course. - Delete I'm reasonably sure that a company of non-trivial size and recent founding would attract the attention of Mars, Incorporated which has had trademarks related to this name for > 80 years, and shortly thereafter be renamed or sued out of existence.
