I believe the tag can stay up for 7 days before being removed. Also not sure if it can be CSD'ed when it has an ongoing AfD. Jeraxmoira (talk) 08:24, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Jeraxmoira: I think it's completely fine to speedy delete an article while it has an ongoing AfD if there is a reason for it. It's an instance of WP:SNOW I think.

As per the "In use" tag: If this template has been left in place for more than two hours since the last edit, you may assume the placing editor has forgotten to remove it, and you may remove it yourself. So it's 2 hours, not 7 days. It's "Under construction" template which can stay up to 8 days. Deltaspace⁴² (talk • contribs) 10:19, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
