Fails Wikipedia:Notability (events). Ignoring the event's promotional website [1] and anonymous blog posts [2], the only justification for this article is a short piece at Road & Track [3]. The majority of that article isn't enven about the event; it's background about fame and importance of Deals Gap, North Carolina itself. It says 653 BMW Mini owners attended. That is a paltry number; typically recurring festivals of note have attendance in the tens of thousands, at least. A single article fails to meet the criteria of sustained coverage from diverse sources. Dbratland (talk) 21:10, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep Motor Trend has an article on their site about this here [4]. Seems like a good source. Also, the event seems more like an uncompetitive race than a festival, which would explain the low attending numbers. Lebowbowbowski (talk) 03:57, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. A run of the mill event on the Dragon (see this list, for instance). It might be worth a sentence if there was an article about "events on the dragon", but that could easily exist at Deals Gap, North Carolina. tedder (talk) 04:12, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
