Primary sources where the subject is the main topic are a closely connected blog by the wife of his child and IMDB and BFI database. None of that rises to the level of WP:SIGCOV per WP:Verifiability and Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources. There is also a book on the documentary film he made which is notable, but notability is not inherited. A WP:BEFORE search yielded no significant coverage in independent reliable sources.
