The result was Keep per WP:SNOW. Unanimous consensus that despite the (completely stupid) decision to hide dislikes on videos, this page has historical relevance. (non-admin closure) Unnamed anon (talk) 09:05, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

YouTube has decided to remove the dislike counts on all its videos. As such, it no longer makes sense to keep this list, so it should be deleted. GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 21:51, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep this page has historical value even if dislikes are currently disabled. Notability is not temporary. snood1205(Say Hi! (talk)) 21:54, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Snood1205 said exactly what I was going to say. Schazjmd (talk) 22:00, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Did you read the previous AFD that happened a year ago? Coverage determined notability, and everything listed has ample coverage. Notability is not temporary. Dream Focus 22:03, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Historical information, WP:NOTTEMPORARY. The counter isn’t even removed, just hidden— you can still dislike a video, but the number of dislikes is not visible to the public. This isn’t documenting a completely dead feature like the old YouTube star ratings. Dronebogus (talk) 22:21, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep For now there are still ways to find the dislike count through their API, despite its removal otherwise. We don't delete articles that are well-sourced just because a feature isn't available any longer and the historical data is still otherwise well available publicly. • Keep while I get where the OP is coming from their reasoning would mean that List of works by Leonardo da Vinci should be deleted since there wont be any items added to the list - unless someone finds a hidden treasure in their attic :-) MarnetteD|Talk 04:02, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep I don't understand the OP's argument at all, but whatever it is, it's not a valid rationale for deletion. Therefore, the article should be kept by default. Mlb96 (talk) 05:36, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Yes, I don't understand the OPs argument here either, doesn't make sense, and no grounds for removing the page. Deathlibrarian (talk) 22:26, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Even if YouTube got rid of the public dislike count on videos from everyone else across its platform but they were made private to the creators themselves, the page must be kept on Wikipedia for some kind of historical reasons. Judging my view on users' responses above, I don't think it is necessary to delete this page as other people want to know how many dislikes the videos on the list had with the like-dislike ratio percentage addressing their own feedback. --Allen (talk / ctrb) 07:11, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
