List of Vevo Certified music videos[edit]

List of Vevo Certified music videos (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View log · Stats)

Poorly sourced fancruft; this is merely a "List of music videos with 100 million views on YouTube and the like". The fact that this is given out by a notable website does not matter in my opinion, it is a non-notable metric. ViperSnake151  Talk  22:05, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. I created the article following the outcome of a CFD for Category:Vevo Certified songs. There is a mention of the certification within the Vevo article. I agree that the list is merely WP:Fancruft with no real legitimate sourcing of artists/videos that receive this certification. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 22:29, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Violates WP:NOT#ADVERTISING and its stepchild, WP:SINGLEVENDOR. It's a sales measure from a single entity measuring only that entity's distribution, neglecting the broader market. There are numerous streaming and download charts that do not have the same inherent bias.—Kww(talk) 22:33, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Non important list. List shows no significant aid in navigation to the related articles per WP:L. ///EuroCarGT 22:50, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Not an industry metric, and certainly not a neutral source of information and easily bent towards influence without knowing how they're exactly measured. Nate (chatter) 23:08, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. Not a notable award, and it does seem a bit like an advertisement. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 22:40, 31 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
