Just a list of pay tv companies in a country it seems. I think this hsould just be deleted. (I would say redirect but I don't know what it could be redirected too) Wgolf (talk) 05:26, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
- Delete per WP:NOTDIR, and fails WP:GNG. SW3 5DL (talk) 06:31, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
- Delete - Shouldn't it be "List of Pay-TV Companies in Nigeria"?, Anyway per above Fails GNG. –Davey2010 • (talk) 16:09, 26 September 2014 (UTC)

- Keep: I searched Wikipedia and I was able to find similar articles for some other African countries. The Nigerian cable TV business is a very well referenced, reliable and notable market that often draw media attention because of the frequent battle between the providers (especially because of EPL, La liga and UCL broadcasting rights). I have moved the article and added a few references. I don't think this article should be redirected because it is pretty notable on its own. Apart from all the references I added, many other citations do exist as well. It passes WP:GNG. Darreg (talk) 12:55, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
*Keep:I only feel it should be renamed to "List of television stations in Nigeria", listing all television stations in Nigeria. Then "PayTV providers" should be a subsection.--Jamie Tubers (talk) 19:02, 1 October 2014 (UTC)
- TV stations and satellite cable providers are TOTALLY different. I will create a separate article for the former in the future.Darreg (talk) 22:14, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
- They may be different, but very similar; a subsection for paytv providers can always be created under "List of television stations" article.--Jamie Tubers (talk) 20:26, 5 October 2014 (UTC)

- Keep: per Darreg and Jamie Tubers above. Subject of the article meet WP:GNG. It only needs to be rename as suggested by Jamie.Wikicology (talk) 00:10, 2 October 2014 (UTC)

- Comment - The article's name was changed to List of satellite television service providers in Nigeria. NorthAmerica1000 16:47, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
- Comment-Thinking of withdrawing, but is there a category that this list could go into like a list of satellite providers? Wgolf (talk) 19:52, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
- Merge: Perhaps it could be merged with List of direct broadcast satellite providers? Perhaps create a Nigeria section under Africa and list them there? Rayna Jaymes (talk) 18:34, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
- Comment:yea, this sounds more like it!
- Merge: create a Nigerian section and merge into List of direct broadcast satellite providers--Jamie Tubers (talk) 20:26, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
- Comment-That sounds a lot better IMO. Wgolf (talk) 20:28, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
