Sprawling list of broadcasters for the World Cup that is mostly unreferenced. Broadcasters for an individual WC may be notable and discussed but not as a whole. We already have articles for individual World Cups: 2006, 2014, 2022, etc . This article seems like excessive information that is not encyclopedic for Wikipedia. Keep but move notable topic (over 3 million hits on Google news for 'Fifa World Cup broadcast', although lots are run of the mill) and article serves as useful overview to Category:FIFA World Cup broadcasting rights topic. Needs improvement, not deletion - perhaps with a move to FIFA World Cup broadcasting rights and changing into more of a history. Giant Snowman 10:12, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Delete covered adequately in each year's separate articles, and intersecting all the broadcasters for all of the FIFA World Cup events just makes a WP:NOTDIRECTORY mess, which is what this article is. Joseph2302 (talk) 18:10, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
