This page duplicates material from various other lists, and has to be updated every time one of them changes. It serves no useful purpose in its own right. The things that bring the countries of the Commonwealth of Nations together are not relevant to the film industry in general or to the Academy in particular. There is unanimous agreement at the article's talk page that the article should be deleted. Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 19:50, 8 March 2014 (UTC)

- Delete - how patently ridiculous. Why not List of Nobel Peace Prize winners from countries with commercially viable apple industries? The two things are not in any way related. Nationality in general, maybe, as with List of Australian Academy Award winners and nominees but the historical political status of the country from which a nominee/winner hails is just completely unrelated to their being nominated or winning. Is there any suggestion that any nominee's country's Commonwealth-ness has contributed to their subsequent Academy Award win? Stalwart111 06:03, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
- Delete The Commonwealth doesn't have a unified film industry and is seldom considered as a single entity when it comes to discussing film (would people lump Bollywood, Nigerian, and Australian cinema together? Unlikely.) In theory it could be replaced by a list of links to List of Indian Academy Award winners and nominees, List of Australian Academy Award winners and nominees, and similar articles, but I'm not sure that's justified, for the same reason. --Colapeninsula (talk) 10:50, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
- Snow delete per all of the above. Two unrelated criteria collide, leaving a train wreck. Clarityfiend (talk) 22:58, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
