Declined prod. Google shows many mentions of the completely unrelated Lion Brewery, Inc. in Pennsylvania or other Lion Breweries around the world. Keep or Merge to List of breweries in New York § Closed breweries. – It definitely existed. Finding sources for this is a bit tough, per the timeframe of the brewery's existence. Below are some I found using custom searches, although they do not appear to provide significant coverage. It is likely that additional offline sources are available. It is an historically significant brewery in part per being the sixth-largest brewery in the United States in 1895 (source). Keep. When I looked here a couple of days back I felt the brewery must be notable on account of its 19th-century size and location and it was merely that no one had gone back to look at old newspapers and books. So, even then, I was very tempted to !vote keep. Now NorthAmerica and DGG have found references I can even cite WP:GNG in support. Thank you. We should (obviously) be retaining such information but it's less important how it is distributed within and between articles. According to the talk page, in 2006 the text was included in Manhattan Valley until someone spun it out into the present article. Thincat (talk) 18:21, 20 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
