The result was Keep. It's a real place and its existence has been confirmed. Carlossuarez46 (talk) 07:09, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Me and User:Passportguy has been having a long discussion about small hamlets on the talkpage. This is a part of the swiss town Poschiavo and some kind of Poschiavo south station at the Bernina. But is it notable enough for a article itself? I don't think so. About 10 hamlet articles in the same area has been redirect to the closest real town or simply to Val di Campo or Val di Poschiavo. Highest Heights (talk) 20:04, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment As I and Hightest Heights discussed, I would say that this one just barely passes the notability mark as having a station named after it. However I agree that it is definately not the most notable place on earth. Passportguy (talk) 20:09, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment. I'm finding difficulty finding sources saying that this exists as a village rather than just a railway station. Phil Bridger (talk) 18:02, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment See the official Swiss tourism web site at http://www.myswitzerland.com/en/infra.cfm/rkey/1020 which has it's own entry for this hamlet Passportguy (talk) 18:17, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - I think a town/population center with it's own rail station (on the Bernina Express) is self-identifiable enough to warrant an article.[1]--Oakshade (talk) 19:04, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment Once again, it seems to be a part of the town Poschiavo rather than a own village. Highest Heights (talk) 20:19, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I read that argument, but I still think it's separate and distinct enough from Poschaivo to be a separate population center. Switzerland is different than, say, the US in that they there are distinctions of villages even though they might be really close or even adjoining to a larger population center.--Oakshade (talk) 20:51, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion so consensus may be reached.

Speedy keep. Failure to follow WP:BEFORE before considering deletion. -- Biaswarrior (talk) 19:19, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]- Checkuser confirmed sock. J.delanoygabsadds 19:54, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment, Above users only edits have been to vote "Keep" on AfD's, and remove ProD's. Wuhwuzdat (talk) 19:37, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment. What relevance does that comment have to this discussion? Everyone is a volunteer here, so we only make the edits that we want to make. If this editor's priority is to try to prevent deletion of articles on subjects that he are she considers to be valid encyclopedia entries then it's quite proper to edit accordingly. - Comment I and User:Highest Heights has a long discussion on thie subject prior to the AfD nomination. And while I disagree with him on the level of notability of Li Curt, I can understand the reasoning behing the nomination and feel that this was a valid candiate for an AfD discussion. Passportguy (talk) 19:45, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep or at least merge to Poschiavo. In the long history of AfD, real places have been determined to be notable. Let's not change that consensus now. Who then was a gentleman? (talk) 20:36, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
