Non-notable company; has no significant coverage anywhere and the article is mostly a refbomb of press releases and product announcements. Tayi Arajakate Talk 00:28, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Tayi Arajakate. I cleaned the refbomb of press release and announcement kind of details and updated with more information. Kindly do visit the page and guide me. I am new editor on Wikipedia and will appreciate the feedback on my work. Thanks. MovieLoverFan (talk) 21:56, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - I agree with the nominator, especially on the ref-bombing. The article's many sources are to sites that reprint the company's own press releases, or to listings of the albums/movies for which it was involved in the distribution. The company has no significant and reliable coverage as an entity in its own right. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 02:18, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Also, the article was created by the same user who created the equally faulty Krupesh Thacker, whose first name is the origin of the company name. Add WP:PROMOTION to the deletion argument above. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 02:20, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello doomsdayer520's. I am the creator of this company page. 1st of all thanks for the inputs on this company page and artist page created that I created. I cleaned the artist page Krupesh Thacker with proper reference links to his work as an artist. Thanks you for your feedback for that page edits. I have edited the company page with reference to the the blockbuster movies and songs under record label's credit as well as the notable artists that have worked with the company. However I am still searching for more articles that establishes the company's notability. I will reserve my vote for now and add it after more research on the company. Meanwhile I request you and other editors senior editors to check the page with added details and also help me build the page that meets the wikipedia guidelines. • Speedy delete under G11 as unambiguous promotion. To build on doomsdayer520's discovery, 100% of the page creator's 57 total edits in this space relate to the name Krupesh Thacker. Their new page creations look pretty tricked-out for a new user, huh. Over on the Commons the same user has 8 edits total, all the images sourced from Krupesh Thacker or Krup Music, which the user seems to license on his behalf. This doesn't seem like an innocent mistake (smile), it seems like promotion. --Lockley (talk) 07:39, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - I have cleared the initial issues raised by the senior editors. I also on my research could find the list of notable artists and notable movies where the record label has been an important part of. A movie music is published worldwide by a music label. I couldn't manage to find standalone articles about the label, however while reading the policies for WP:COMPANY I could see a point under section products and services that says "If the products and services are considered notable enough on their own, one option is to break out the discussion of them into a separate article following WP:Summary style." The music publishing service of the label is notable only through their catalogue of hit songs and notable artist, which this label fits into. I have added links to the notable digital platforms of India that still shows the top songs published by this label in different years. I also went through the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Record Labels that talks about the specific criteria to be decided to evaluate record label. I belong to the same state and came to know about this company through it's successful work to take the music of Gujarati Cinema to worldwide audience. And as per my research and knowledge it is still the only music company from Gujarat to have catalogue of maximum hit songs from Gujarati Cinema. Lastly I would say that if it still doesn't fits the Wikipedia requirements, kindly suggest the best possible option for the page. I am new editor here and would love to learn from the seniors here. Thanks. MovieLoverFan (talk) 19:12, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I acknowledge this user's efforts to learn about Wikipedia policies and to improve the article in good faith. Unfortunately, even after the recent revisions, the article is still dependent on the company's own publicity releases (WP:PRIMARY, WP:SPS) and media stories that are actually about people, songs, or films in which the company is merely listed as the distributor (WP:NOTINHERITED). Thus, there is still little evidence that the company is notable in its own right. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 02:56, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Comment Kind request to check about JioSaavn & Gaana.com. They are not self-published sources. These sites publish the music provided by Music Record Label. Also the record label has been part of many blockbuster Gujarati Movie as well as many hit songs by notified artists are published by this label. You can also find these songs listed by The_Times_Of_India. The newspaper also sites the music label YouTube official video when posting about the movies and artists. How would you explain that? Simple google search on Google about Krup Music can lead you to many movie songs and notable sites listing the company as record label. On IMDB also do you think that all movie names are self published by this company? I would request to read the company page and do some research. Thanks. MovieLoverFan (talk) 16:26, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Comment Gaana and JioSaavn are not self-published, but they are directly affiliated with music labels, promoting their business with the partners. Secondly, only TOI is not enough to satisfy the criteria for inclusion because they are also running a music label like gaana and JioSaavn. If they have written any independent article on the subject, please provide here. Please also see citing IMDb and User-generated content for future references. Comment I really appreciate your feedback on this. I was very confused initially about the page I created. Now I am getting the complete idea of Wikipedia system. I agree with your point and refereed the policies. However still I am wondering what about the notable movies that the company is part of? Those movie have given credit as official Record Label to the company even in their movies. I have watched those movies and that's how I came to know about the credit. Some of those movies were blockbuster and won many awards. Now the songs of those movies were officially published by this label. Now those songs are on JioSaavn and Gaana and I was giving reference in that sense for these sites. One more thing the page also mentions the notable artists they have on their catalogue and we can verify the songs by those artists on these sites. I could find many press articles about the company involved in social activity by providing their music for event. But those news article were considered press release which I believe are not. Still I removed it as I am learning Wikipedia rules and don't want to mess up my page. Here is a link to one such article.[1] I would really appreciate if anyone can guide about the inclusion of such articles in the reference. MovieLoverFan (talk) 08:34, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Comment MovieLoverFan Thank you for understanding Wikipedia guidelines. If you want to cite this article with videos (movies), please make sure that they are published by notable production, distributor or music label companies such as Red Chillies Entertainment, T-Series, UTV Motion Pictures or similar other companies or news media on their respective websites or YouTube channels. However, if we cite article with same movies, but they are published on blogs or non-notable sites or YouTube channels, it is not acceptable. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 15:58, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Since we are discussing about a music label, it is important a video should clearly state what is mentioned in the article. For instance, "Example is an American music label" – an authentic video should clearly state the same. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 16:12, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Comment TheBirdsShedTears Thanks for your suggestions. I understand that video citation from notable companies make sense however here the company itself is Music Label and it has videos of notable movies on their YouTube channel. So can I add those videos of notable movies published by this music label's YouTube channel to justify this label's notable work? The issue raised here was that the company doesn't have notable coverage. The company has published many songs of notable movies as well as artists but the are either available on their YouTube channel or on music streaming sites like JioSaavn and Gaana with credit to this music label. I am creating a talk page for the company and putting those links there. Kind request to check and help me with proper citation. MovieLoverFan (talk) 10:34, 27 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Comment I don't know much about "to cite a movie or video as a reference". Please see WP:CITEVIDEO for detailed or future reference. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 11:08, 27 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
