I'm not sure I understand the meaning of the single sentence in this stub. What I do know is that Kolkata Metro Line 7 doesn't currently exist, that it's not mentioned in Kolkata Metro as a possible new line (which, by the way, means that we can't just redirect Kolkata Metro Line 7 to Kolkata Metro) and that Google has never heard about a planned Line 7 in Kolkata. The one reference is behind a paywall so I can't check if it mentions Line 7 but I seriously doubt it since the article dates back to 2012. Pichpich (talk) 21:57, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. The article may refer to proposal #4 in this list. However, we do not know right now which of the proposed lines, if any, will be the future line #7. Hence it's probably best to delete and not to redirect in order not to confuse anyone. If someone finds more or better information, I will be open to change my position. gidonb (talk) 01:40, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete The status being "unofficially planned" does not make me at all confident this hypothetical metro line is actually notable, not that the author gave us much of anything to go on to even identify the article's subject. A proposed rail line can be notable, such as North–South Rail Link, but like anything else we need to see significant coverage to have an article. • Delete. The text The Kolkata Metro Line 7 from Kavi Subhash to Baruipur is an unsanctioned line of the Kolkata Metro which is expected to be sanctioned after the under construction Metro projects of the city are completed. (which is actually the entire article) does not seem to indicate that this is an official proposal in any capacity. If there were sources, I would have !voted to redirect the page to Kolkata Metro and add sources there, as there is not enough info for a standalone article. However, I cannot even find sources about this line. Maybe ArnabSaha may know more about whether this topic exists, but I'm not seeing any coverage of this proposal at all, let alone significant coverage. – Epicgenius (talk) 22:21, 6 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. This article fails WP:GNG as the only sources I could find relating to any line 7 in India were for the Mumbai Metro's Line 7, and the source that was provided doesn't even mention Line 7 at all. – Mapmatics (talk) 01:54, 7 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
