News story now out of date. It makes Wikipedia look like a gossip column and not an encyclopedia. Invasion of privacy of the family. Contains superfluous trivia and nonsense about the surrounding area. Non-notable subject. Feeds off the JK Rowling bio page as a gossip parasite. Previous deletion tag removed and yet the person who removed it hasn't even bothered to replace the four dead links. Angela MacLean (talk) 23:40, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - Rowlings is notable. Her books are notable. Her vacation house is not particularly notable on its own merits. As for being owned by Rowlings, notability is not inherited. This article is nothing but an unnecessary fork from J. K. Rowling. Meters (talk) 00:22, 16 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment -- I would say that this was a case of inheriting notability, were it not for a TV programme placing it 91st on a list. Peterkingiron (talk) 16:09, 17 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment -- It's the first time I've ever heard of Britain TV and yet I'm British. Certainly not as notable as the BBC, CH4 or ITV etc. Please take a look at the address to the dead link to Britain TV: it looks like nothing more than an advert for Britain TV. It actually links to their home page. Angela MacLean (talk) 16:43, 17 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment - Britain.tv is a tourism webpage rather than a tv show. I've updated the dead link to a current one, but I'm not sure that tthe source can be considered a reliable source since there is absolutely nothing to say where they got the rankings.Meters (talk) 16:50, 17 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete: Leaving aside the matter of current ownership, as notability is not inherited, there is the briefest of mentions of this House in the 19th century Ordnance Gazetteer of Scotland [1] and nothing on the Dictionary of Scottish Architects Buildings database, so I would say there is a lack of evidence of its notability. • Delete: Unnecessary fork of JK Rowling bio. --RaiderAspect (talk) 07:57, 23 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
