The result was speedy keep. Nominator (and thus far only delete voter) has been blocked for disruption. No prejudice towards renomination. NW (Talk) 00:52, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Strong Delete First of all, the person seems to be an obsucre . non-notable. Secondly, the article is lacking citations / references for all the claims made. In short, all the article have no sentences which doesn't needs a referene. Third, the article requires clean-up. Even after informing the creator / author about all the situation, the article was ignored to be provided any citation. In myumble opinion, above charges are enough for any article to be speedy deleted. Warm Regards, --LineofWisdom (talk) 16:17, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. Pretty much everything in the articles is borne by this article. This piece from PPI calls him the King of Ghazals. He has also won the National Film Award (of Pakistan) for singing per this. -SpacemanSpiffCalvin‡Hobbes 17:34, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Strong Keep I am honestly short of words to express my regret on this AFD nomination by a user who is in constant war with me upon his vandalism of another article created by me known as Marwat. This is by all means yet another bad faith AFD by this user as the subject singer is considered as a Legend in both Afghanistan and Pakistan. The user LineofWisdom has been blocked for using sockpuppets and has been using foul language and dragging my family as well as an administrators family into these discussions. Looking at the quality of his written English I can only sympathize at his assertion about my English by placing a “Clean Up” tag atop this particular article. You know this is what happens when you don’t impose indefinite block on vandals like him at the first place. I can only offer my commiseration at his dyslexia. I can retaliate by placing AFDs at all the articles of his relatives but I won't lower my level that much. I leave it to the administrators to decide this issue. This AFD is shouting for nothing else but a Speedy Keep.-- MARWAT 02:42, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why personal I am once again strange and astonished o see that rather defnding the nomination Marwatt has started attacking me personally, once again. Administrators / Opertaors, whoever I am, whatever I have done in the past or even doing now will not lead this article to be notable. We must remain to write or submit feedbacks regarding the nomination, not to be personal. The author of this article Marwatt has even single line in defence of this article, except attacking me in several lines? Please note it. --LineofWisdom (talk) 11:37, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. I have overhauled the article, added some sources. Clearly notable on all counts - independent sources, many fans, awards etc. Also, although Youtube entries are not usually evidence of notability, I think this list is convincing Aymatth2 (talk) 15:17, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Clear keep, especially after Aymatth2's edits — the awards section itself should show beyond all doubt that he is notable. In addition, this appears to be a bad-faith nomination by a now-blocked user. Close? Shreevatsa (talk) 02:22, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
