Does not meet WP:MUSIC. Artist appears to have only recorded one single with almost no published work about the artist. Current references are to YouTube and a dead BBC link. Vladimir.copic (talk) 00:13, 14 July 2021 (UTC)

- Delete There are some true one-hit wonders, but Emery is not one of them. To begin with the work she is most known for is a work that has a much longer history, and so it is not even defined by her particular recording.John Pack Lambert (talk) 13:53, 14 July 2021 (UTC)
- Delete or possibly redirect to Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child. The BBC link (archived) never had any biographic info, just a node in a directory pointing to MusicBrainz and Discogs. She became known for a single cover song. She receives passing one sentence mentions in showbiz chatter sections in Variety, Billboard, and music trade journals: e.g. "Kathleen Emery is visiting deejays plugging "Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child" on the Love label, "Kathleen Emery (signs) to Le Roy Prinz for personnel management", "Top arranger-conductor George Siravo has been signed by songstress Kathleen Emery to wax her first single", "Kathleen Emery starts at the Holiday Inn, Aruba, today". Her cover of "Motherless Child" apparently got some radio play in the UK in 1997, and Aquarium Drunkard (RS?) gave two paragraphs indicating its existence , which is why it might possibly be worthy of mention at, and redirect to, the song's article. --Animalparty!
