This mostly unsourced BLP doesn't make a strong claim to notability. The subject is a filmmaker, but as far as I can see, neither he nor his films have received much coverage. Keep He's quoted as 'highly respected' here in UAE paper The National, this extensive review of Mirrors of Diaspora in Arab News, and this here review of Whispers of the Cities on Jadaliyya. Now we're off to Egypt's biggest newspaper Al Ahram and Egypt Today notes the screening of Mirrors at the first Iraqi Film Festival. Here we're screening at the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival - and by now I think we're wayyyyyy past WP:GNG for Abid. And there's more out there, folks.
