Non-notable local politician from New Mexico. No reliable sources with any info on him other than local New Mexico publications. Appears to be one giant piece of self-promotional puffery. Fred Zepelin (talk) 00:11, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. Carraro was a state legislator, which means he passes WP:NPOL. In any event, local sources, such as the ones in the article and at Newspapers.com, still qualify under the GNG. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 00:18, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per WP:NPOL/Extraordinary Writ. For that WP:SNG, he qualifies under the first guideline as Politicians and judges who have held [...] state/province–wide office, or have been members of legislative bodies at those levels. as a member of the New Mexico State Senate. This article can definitely be improved, but he passes the threshold. There is not a good citation in the article for his having served, but he's listed as having served on the New Mexico Legislature's website, so I think that passes WP:V as well. snood1205(Say Hi! • Comment Sorry, I did not realize holding office in a state senate was an automatic qualifier. My mistake, was not aware of WP:NPOL until now. How do I withdraw this deletion discussion? Fred Zepelin (talk) 13:35, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
(courtesy @Fred Zepelin:) No worries! Because all the comments so far are for keep and you want to withdraw, you should be able to follow the procedures laid out here, WP:AFD#Procedure for non-administrator close (nominator withdrawal), for a speedy keep per nom withdrawal. (Also worthwhile reading the paragraph at WP:WDAFD to provide additional context.) snood1205(Say Hi! (talk)) 14:14, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
