Contested PROD. Concern was Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league. PROD was contested on the basis that the article may meet WP:FOOTYN which explicitly states that it no longer applies to players. Sir Sputnik (talk) 02:34, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am also nominating the following article for the same reason. Sir Sputnik (talk) 02:39, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - meets WP:FOOTYN as has played on fully professional team. The requirement is a fully professional team, not a fully professional league - Conference National is a mostly-professional league. Nfitz (talk) 04:33, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Doesn't meet WP:NFOOTY. NFOOTY doesn't have the word "team" in it. It does say league, "Players who have played, and managers who have managed in a fully professional league". Bgwhite (talk) 07:33, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - fails WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTBALL. I suggest @Nfitz: that you actually read the guidelines you quote in future. GiantSnowman 11:38, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - fails WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTBALL. None of the clubs he has actually played for play in a fully professional league. Fenix down (talk) 14:37, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete: Fails WP:NFOOTY and WP:GNG. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 20:20, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Nfitz does not understand WP:NFOOTY, which states that a player must have played in "a fully professional league", not for a fully-professional club. The Conference Premier is not fully professional (or even mostly professional), so he fails it. Number 57 23:33, 12 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete: Clearly fails WP:NFOOTY and WP:GNG. Finnegas (talk) 23:37, 18 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Both – neither player has played in a fully professional league, failing WP:NFOOTY, and in neither case is there evidence of sufficient notability to meet the general notability guideline. C679 20:31, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
