Although the song has gained a cult following in Wales, there is not "enough material to warrant a reasonably detailed article", as stated by WP:NSONGS. It has not charted, nor has it won any awards. All the information from the second paragraph can be easily worked into the article for the parent album, but the first paragraph is citing a user-generated lyrics site, so this information is not usable. Redirect to International Velvet (album). This one is a close call because the song has some media notice in lists of favorite Welsh songs, and a few media sources in that country actually call it an "unofficial anthem", but without much further comment. (I suspect that the article's claims of massive cultural influence are exaggerated.)
