Delete. While this accident meets WP:AIRCRASH as it was a hull loss, it fails WP:GNG. A Google search for '"Indian Airlines Flight 840" -wiki -wikipedia' turns up all of nine hits, no gBooks hits, no gNews hits. Obvious there was no WP:PERSISTENCE. Can be summarised in one paragraph in the type and airline articles. - The Bushranger One ping only 00:32, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment Wouldn't this article have lots of non-English-language sources that are offline, as this dates from 1993? Lugnuts (talk) 06:40, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- How would one look for those, though? — Isarra (talk) 07:21, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- I suppose somebody could check Hindu Google(?), but the apparent utter lack of book sources isn't promising. - The Bushranger One ping only 08:35, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- No comment on the sourcing, but looks like a straight copy from aviation-safety.net [1] so a copyright violation. --Tikiwont (talk) 16:12, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Speedy delete G12 - blatant copyvio of [2] - The Bushranger One ping only 22:35, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
