non-notable news item. wikipedia is not a news site. Ysangkok (talk) 10:32, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
- Delete per WP:NOTNEWS. No indication that this event merits its own article. Joshualouie711talk 16:27, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
- Keep The rationale is "WP is not a news site". Then how can you explain the airplane crashes, earthquakes and other events in WP ? A human chain of more than 100 km with a 20 km unterrupted portion against nuclear plant is always a notable event and surely deserves to be in WP. (By the way how do you account for the other similar events listed in Human chain article in WP) Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 14:11, 18 January 2017 (UTC)

- Redirect to Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant#Objections which already contains most of the content. This demonstration is not worthy of a stand-alone article either on size or content grounds (see WP:Splitting): Noyster (talk), 19:47, 22 January 2017 (UTC)
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.

- Delete and redirect - User:Nedim Ardoğa, who voted "Keep" above, created this article on 26 April 2011. On 9 June 2015, User:Sekicho merged the content verbatim into Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant. At that point, this article was redundant and should have been deleted and converted into a redirect. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 13:25, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
