A 33-year-old player with no WP:NFOOTY game appearances and no coverage to satisfy WP:GNG. Hugh MacDonald was signed in 2007 by the Major League Soccer team MetroStars (now called Red Bulls) but released a few months later with no first team appearances. Delete. Consulted by nom prior to nomination. Was not drafted after college. Signed to a contract, but never played as a pro, so fails NFOOTY. While the very common name makes searching difficult, does not seem to pass GNG (and sources in the article definitely do not establish GNG).
