Hooper was a rail stop on the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe at the crossing with the Pittsburg Railroad.[[1]] Hooper was an industrialist who had a major role in developing the area. Topo maps from 1918 show no buildings at or around the crossing. There is no indication that it was ever a community. Nothing to indicate that it meets basic notability criteria.
