The result was delete. In reply to C.Fred, in my opinion, the only useful thing in the article that would be worthwhile to merge is the newspaper image, and that is a copyvio. Happy to userfy it though, if you think you can do something with it. SpinningSpark 18:07, 5 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. I can't find anything to show that this book is really notable. The only mention I've found is in the author's obituary, but it appears to be the type that is written by a family member than by the paper itself, so it wouldn't be usable as a source in any form. If by some chance the author's page survives deletion then it could be redirected there, but I'm not expecting much due to the lack of coverage for the book.
