This unsourced BLP was redirected to List of Estonian architects by J04n in 2015, but that list is only for people who have an article and created a circular redirect. While there are a lot of google hits for this person I'm not seeing sufficient in depth coverage that's independent to use to source the article (at least in English, the Estonian article has external links but no inline citations, and I can't speak that language). If the redirect were nominated at RfD the consensus would be to restore the article and send it to AfD, so I've reverted the bold redirection to nominate it here without wasting a week of people's time. Speedy keep I guess. Many sources via Google. Has projected notable buildings in Estonia. Awarded person (eg Noore arhitekti preemia, Aasta Betoonehitis 2003, Eesti Kultuurkapitali arhitektuuri sihtkapitali aastapreemia). Also Commons category.--Estopedist1 (talk) 11:34, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- I did my WP:BEFORE on this and found no English language sources that were all of in-depth coverage, reliable and secondary and the single source you have added to the article is not in-depth and doesn't seem to be secondary (I have no opinion about its reliability). Notability is not inherited, so simply being responsible for notable buildings (and none of the ones listed in the article do seem to be individually notable) does not make an architect notable. Receiving awards can confer notability, but it depends on the awards. Looking at google translate versions of the Estonian Wikipedia articles about the awards you list here would suggest that these are debatable for that purpose. But even if the awards do contribute to his notability we would still need in-depth coverage about him - its possible this exists in Estonian, but if so it needs adding to the article - there is no way that a barely referenced BLP will be speedily kept. Keep There are sources out there for him: interview with MAJA - Eesti arhitektuuri ajakiri here and here, an article about him winning the 2011 Young Architect Award at Eesti Rahvusringhääling (ERR), an article about him in the 4 March 2011 edition of Sirp, won awards mentioned above plus the EUmies Award (European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture) in 2009 and 2019. I think he meets notability. Wikipedia has stub articles. Not every article has to detail a life story in thirty paragraphs. ExRat (talk) 05:23, 14 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
