Fails to satisfy the criteria under WP:NACADEMIC. It has been identified as needing improvement since 2015 with no substantial changes made. When the article was PROD'd in 2017 it was deprod'd on the basis that it appeared to address criteria #6 however this relates to a person holding the highest-level elected or appointed administrative post at a major academic institution> The dean or head of department is not the highest position at the university that is the chancellor or vice-chancellor. The Arthur C. Clarke Institute is a research facility not a major academic institution or major academic society. Most of the other references/sources are dead links or mentions in passing.
