Strong Keep Granted he does not meet the notability criteria of WP:POLITICIAN - but he definitely meets WP:GNG which trumps POLITICIAN. He has been the subject of major, months-long, national-level, substantial reporting, far more than most elected officials. Keep Enough source material to meet general notability as it stands and more coming through by the day to support political mover and shaker by the looks of it [1] and [2].
