Global World Series[edit]

This series never existed, in fact the article seems to be based purely on a speculative press conference from 2010... there has been no reports on this in four years and it doesnt seem likely to become a reality any time soon. Delete a non-existing item. well, a one-time idea anyway, but apparently not one that ever came to be. looks like it was mused about "a proposed baseball championship series.... On January 7, 2010, it was announced ... he wants to implement before his retirement in 2012" but apparently the baseball commish' didn't get around to it. in 2010 when the article was made, it was WP:CRYSTAL and now in 2014 it is an unrealized one.Cramyourspam (talk) 17:00, 2 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I concur with the delete rationales above. One might be able to find a place to put a sentence or two about the proposal, with appropriate sourcing, in some appropriate place such as Nippon Professional Baseball#Comparison with Major League Baseball, or Professional baseball in Japan#International play. --Arxiloxos (talk) 00:18, 3 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
