Glenwood Township, Schuyler County, Missouri[edit]

Glenwood Township, Schuyler County, Missouri (edit|talk|history|links|watch|logs|google) AfD discussion This is a non-notable article about a city and should be deleted. I could not find any WP:RS talking about the city. KAP03 (talk) 15:18, 25 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I am also going to nominate these articles because they have the same problems as mentioned above for Glenwood Township, Schuyler County, Missouri -KAP03 (talk) 17:13, 25 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep all, these legally recognized civil divisions are rather clear-cut acceptable topics per WP:GEOLAND: "Populated, legally recognized places are typically presumed to be notable, even if their population is very low. Even abandoned places can remain notable, because notability encompasses their entire history." They are properly cited to GNIS (to confirm legal recognition as a civil district, even if inactive) and, at least for those I checked, an additional source for etymology. I'd also add that if you're assuming a dearth of WP:RS coverage based on internet searches alone, that these sorts of topics are most likely to be fleshed out from dead tree sources; easier for editors with such means to do so if the article already exists. • Keep all Yes, the nominator's statement about a lack of reliable sources leads me to suspect he or she hasn't read WP:GEOLAND. These townships all seem to be legally recognized places. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 18:01, 25 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep all, per Shawn in Montreal. --doncram 20:08, 25 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
