An engineer who died young and had a single tram named after him by his employers. Sad, but I can't see any way in which he could possibly be notable. Looks a bit like a memorial/tribute page. Disputed PROD. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:36, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak Keep Maybe should be retitled 'Gerwyn John tram', per Wikipedia:Notability (people), 'only one notable event'. I can see how this article came about from the table in Midland_Metro_rolling_stock#T-69 in which he is the least notable person on the list. I don't know how or if this fits into Wikipedia guidelines, but the fact that his name is on a nameplate might lead people to seek information about him. --Derek Andrews (talk) 14:08, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Deserves mention in Midland_Metro_rolling_stock#T-69, but not a stand alone article. EricSerge (talk) 15:17, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge / Redirect over to Midland_Metro_rolling_stock#T-69 with the current article being deleted, given that the T-69 page can and should mention more about the late Mr. John but I don't think a full article necessarily is merited due to the lack of reliable source coverage CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 23:22, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge/redirect: I mean no disrespect, but unfortunately, I don't think the subject is notable enough for a stand alone article. A short passage could be added to the Midland Metro rolling stock#T-69 section/article, though, IMO. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 03:11, 3 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
