Not sure if she satisfies WP:SINGER. There's this obituary, but not a lot more. Clarityfiend (talk) 08:33, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment There is quite a lot about her in newspaper archives. Beyond the Fulbright and other awards, she was quite a success. It's going to take me at least a few days to get through newspaper articles about her and request information through interlibrary loan if necessary, but anyone else interested in looking for sources will doubtless find quite a few. • Keep as satisfies WP:SINGER #1: "Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent of the musician or ensemble itself." The reviews are plentiful online and not limited to what is in the article at present. DiamondRemley39 (talk) 12:00, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - In agreement with the previous voter. Some facts from her biography, such as winning a Fulbright and appearing at the Hollywood Bowl, are reliably cited now thanks to DiamondRemley's additions. Also, a Google Books search reveals several appearances in books on black women in classical music (e.g. Just Tell the Story by W.G. Still et al., 2006). There is not very much info available, but enough for an acceptable stub article. DOOMSDAYER520 | TALK | CONTRIBS 15:11, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep satisfies WP:SINGER as noted above but also receives SIGCOV in multiple reliable sources so she even passes WP:GNG. --Tsistunagiska (talk) 14:19, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Plenty of in-depth coverage in newspapers to pass WP:GNG. - Whisperjanes (talk) 19:38, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - Clearly meets notability criteria for WP:GNG. Netherzone (talk) 19:58, 6 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
