Not enough to meet WP:CONTENTFORK or WP:SPINOUT in my opinion. Largely redundant information found in each handheld's article or pages such as Sixth generation of video game consoles. Looks like this article existed before many of them. Information about cartridges I've copied to Game Pak and GBA

There is potential for a Game Boy article about industry impact. Unfortunately, this one is too generalized so it falls inline with what was discussed previously: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Game Boy Advance family, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nintendo DS family and Talk:Nintendo 3DS/Archive 7#Merger proposal. « Ryūkotsusei » 23:35, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Did you check my links? The PlayStation article is about the Playstation brand, not the console. Ditto for the Xbox and iPhone articles. Calidum 14:59, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Calidum - I think the difference is that Game Boy is just one video game product line from a video game company, whereas PlayStation or Xbox represents every video game platform that respective company ever created. If we were, for example, talking about smartphones, I think "PlayStation" would be more like the article "iPhone", where "Game Boy and Game Boy family concurrently existing would kind of be like iPhone 13 and List of iPhone 13 models concurrently existing. That's my personal take away anyways. While I think the Game Boy article needs to go, maybe there's a valid argument for getting rid of the PlayStation/Xbox brand articles too. And I think that's fine, because they're all different things. But when you concurrently have these Game Boy family, Game Boy Advance family, Nintendo DS family on top of that - that's the extra level of redundancy that these discussions have eliminating. Redirect to Game Boy. If Nintendo DS#Later models is any indication, this article is just basically Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance and so forth put together. It's superfluous to the content that's already in each of the separate articles on each Game Boy system. This is different from Xbox and PlayStation which talk about those respective brands and aren't just a list of every console that's called "Xbox [something]" or "PlayStation [number]".
