Unsourced BLP; no reliable assertion of notability Orange Mike | Talk 01:18, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. WP:BEFORE anyone? Allmusic, SOHH,MTV, MTV, The New York Times, Pitchfork, Pitchfork, MTV, BET, Prefix. Just looking at Future discography should make notability obvious here, even after the nominator removed the 'unsourced' forthcoming album for Sony/Epic, apparently without noticing the 26 sources in that article. --Michig (talk) 07:36, 24 March 2012 (UTC)...also worth noting that this article had 17 sources until 2 days ago.--Michig (talk) 07:43, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Michig, those appear to be the music of Future the Artist, who used to be known just as "Future". This new "Future" is a different entity.—Ryulong (竜龙) 08:02, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- As far as I can tell, all of the above sources are about the Atlanta rapper known as Future who has an album called Pluto out next month on Sony, rather than Future the Artist who is from Nashville. The discography should be merged back into this article. --Michig (talk) 08:51, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete: Per nom. Please note that there are two rappers known as "Future". The one who appears in most reliable sources recently changed his name to "Future the Artist". This individual known as "Future" is not notable.—Ryulong (竜龙) 08:03, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep on the basis of the Allmusic biog (which I've referenced into the article) and press coverage identified by Michig above. I'd agree that the need for a distinct Future discography article is questionable. AllyD (talk) 09:30, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Delete Does not appear constructive, insufficient!!--UserWOLfan112 Talk 15:31, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. Significant coverage exists in multiple sources - [1][2][3][4][5], plus those provided above by Michig. Further, some of the artist's songs have charted. Subject satisfies WP:GNG and WP:MUSIC. Gongshow Talk 16:54, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- 1989 and 2011 eh? I think that listing has two rappers named "Future" conflated. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 19:45, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep The Allmusic bio appears to indeed be about Future, Epic Records artist. It also verifies that he has a charted single on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs, which is good enough for me. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 22:05, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete: Two rappers named "Future." The very first source used in this wiki shows the picture of the other "Future" who recently changed his name to "Future the Artist." Inaccurate information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.245.59.174 (talk) 22:09, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep: The artist has had a single chart on the US Billboard Hot 100 ("Magic", at #79; source: [6]), as well on other Billboard charts, such as Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs (indicated in the sources listed above). Based on this, the artist definitely satisfies the notability criteria. Holiday56 (talk) 08:59, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Anyway the original Future changed his name to FYUTCH to avoid confusion between Atlanta-born rapper Future.--5.68.210.131 (talk) 08:53, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
