I cannot find any reliable source stating his existence or notability. He isn't listed on sports-reference.com[1], which has essentially all of the Olympic competitors in history. Neither did a Google search reveal any sources. This leads me to believe the article is probably a hoax. Thomas.macmillan (talk) 14:10, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete. I doubt that it's a hoax, but it should be deleted unless references can be given, and quick. Deb (talk) 13:37, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- I've looked at the history of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Log/2008 December 16 and it looks like this AFD was not listed on the page. —Snigbrook 15:51, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete probably a hoax. The only source I can find is http://allafrica.com/stories/200805060821.html but it still looks like a hoax to me; the two links to the article are Boxing at the 1984 Summer Olympics and Sierra Leone at the 1984 Summer Olympics, which appear to have been vandalised as they contradict information on http://www.la84foundation.org/6oic/OfficialReports/1984/1984v2.pdf which has the Olympic results. It also seems to contradict the Mauro Galvano article and the reference used in it. —Snigbrook 16:28, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete Even if not a hoax, there is nothing here that establishes notability. Looie496 (talk) 19:58, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment Competing at the Olympics actually does constitute notability. The problem with this article is that no sources back up the claim.--TM 23:13, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
