The result was delete. There was an even split between redirect and delete. As this would not be a plausible title for a redirect, the article is deleted. Nakon 01:37, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No evidence of notability independent of Kharazmi University. I attempted to redirect the title to the main article but was reverted. Fails WP:ORGDEPTH. - MrX 15:22, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I am adding the following article more recently created by the same editor:

  • Delete or redirect The article doesn't say anything about the department that goes beyond the internally-oriented details one would find in the university's catalog. It's routine that a university has departments, and notability isn't inherited. There would have to be solid evidence, evidence that one would then expect to find reflected in the article, that a single department is independently notable, for there to be an article on it. —Largo Plazo (talk) 15:54, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect to the university. Nothing to indicate independent notability. Boleyn (talk) 17:58, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect to Kharazmi University as no evidence of notability to warrant a separate article and there's nothing worth merging imho. –Davey2010Talk 18:36, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - Certainly not notable. Decision is then about delete or redirect. Delete seems to be more prudent as there are no links in that merit it being kept as a redirect. - UtherSRG (talk) 21:39, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Redirect to Kharazmi University, nothing noteworthy to retain. note: the creator of this article has recently created a near duplicate at Faculty of mathematics of kharazmi university, and reverted my attempt to WP:BOLDly redirect it, and saving us all some trouble. --Animalparty-- (talk) 07:54, 10 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Recommendation Whatever the outcome, I recommend indefinite protection as well, given that there's already been no end of reversions of redirects and removals of AFD templates and the creation of an additional article, by one or more people who are clearly determined to have this article exist. —Largo Plazo (talk) 12:29, 12 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - Not even worthy of having a redirect according to the external links of the article. ●Mehran Debate● 13:24, 12 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - Ordinary university department with no special claim to significance or depth of published coverage leading to a GNG keep. Carrite (talk) 16:43, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
