Fails WP:GNG, I've been unable to find significant, reliable coverage. the article claims he has had a minor role in a lot of movies and shows, but that is not enough to satisfy WP:NACTOR as far as I'm aware. TryKid ^{[dubious – discuss]} 14:32, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Keep Several notable roles in major films (8 Mile, Jarhead (film), The Book of Eli). Jones was a main cast member of TV-series October Road which aired on ABC, a major network part of the Big Three. Has the subject received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject? Notability isn't inherited, just working in some famous shows doesn't automatically provide notability without any sourcing. And I have yet to see any reliable source cited in the article. Keep I've just did some deep research on the web for "Evan Jones" and he definitely fits general notability guideline. On top of that, I was able to improve the "Evan Jones (actor)" article by adding in references/sources and along with specific categories.
Keep: The subject certainly meets WP:NACTOR, with his roles in films like 8 Mile and Glory Road. WP:GNG is less convincingly made out, but there are a number of hits on newspapers.com, with potentially more than just passing mentions. I think this article is worth keeping and working on.
